About Us

Situated on a sprawling 334-acre plat, The Reserve at Fair Hill (RFH) sits on a historic property dating back just before the civil war.  The most renowned landmark on the property is the old Chichester House school house.  Its ruins still exist at the intersection of Wickham Road and Chichester House Road, for which is named after the landmark.  From the late 19th century to the mid 20th century, the property was popular for horseback riding and fox hunting.

Today, the community enjoys still being partially rural, surrounding by at least two working farms and two private golf clubs less than two miles away.  All the while, RFH is also is convenient distance from city life in Olney Town Center, just three miles away from restaurants and three major grocery chains   Founded in March 2009, the community has 133 estate homes ranging between a ½ of an acre to 11 acres large.  RFH was built in the middle of a Montgomery County natural preserve, the North Branch Stream Valley Park.  The Park provides a lush “forest” of mature trees and lovely nature trails.  RFH benefits from a variety of birdlife that is becoming more and more rate in other suburban parts of Montgomery County.

To-date, over 90% of owners are still original owners.  We pride ourselves in a rich diversity, coming from 9 different nationalities and numerous families are first generation immigrants.  Many residents are dedicated to the local economy, not just living in Montgomery County but working in the county as well. Residents are active in a number of volunteer, service and charitable organizations in Olney including the Greater Olney Civic Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
